The Core is a stout folder, light for its size and with a broad blade for hard work. It is designed to be your go-to folder for getting work done in your shop, in the outdoors or even out hunting. The flipper makes fast deployment easy and at the same time you have the option of using the opening hole when wearing thick gloves or in situations where you need to keep a solid grip on your knife while opening it.

Technical Description

The Core from FOX is a stout folder, light in weight for its size, with a broad blade just right for hard work. It is designed to be your go-to folder for Every Day Carry whether in the outdoors or in your shop. The flipper makes fast deployment easy, or you have the option of using the hole in the blade if wearing gloves. Ball bearings at the pivot make opening the Core fast and smooth. The drop point blade of N690Co stainless at 58-60 Rc. measures 3-1⁄8" in length and 1-3/8" wide with a stonewashed finish. The handle sides are an eye-catching blue fiberglass reinforced nylon over nested stainless steel liners with cut-outs to reduce the weight. If you are familiar with our Featherlite steel handles, you know where the idea of the cut-outs came from. An orange back spacer adds a nice color contrast to the blue. Ships with a reversible pocket clip positioned for tip-up carry. A liner-lock. Measures 4-3/8" closed. Weighs 4.7 oz. Made in Italy. Designed by Jesper Voxnaes.
